Hedderman Consulting specializes in using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate equipment, components, and structures for a wide variety of industries including the pressure vessel, petrochemical, energy, construction, transportation, and mining industries. Our services include analyzing and evaluating equipment to ensure it meets the applicable Codes and Standards, performing evaluations of the structural integrity and determining the remaining life of equipment already in service, and performing failure investigations.
Pressure Vessel Design & Analysis
We design and analyze pressure vessels and related equipment to Section VIII, Division 1 and Division 2 of the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code.
We also provide Fitness-for-Service evaluations for clients with equipment that is damaged and its structural integrity is suspect. The results of a Fitness-for-Service evaluation performed by Hedderman Consulting in accordance with API 579-1/ASME FFS-1 will provide you with the information to make repair, replace, or use as-is decisions.
We meet the qualification requirements of Certifying Engineer per the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1, Mandatory Appendix 47.

Failure Investigations
